Barça will present a “partial” ERTE to employees on Monday

first_imgBarcelona will deliver the documentation of the temporary business regulation file (ERTE) for non-sports employees to the Department of Treball of the Generalitat on Monday, April 6. This was announced to the members of the Committee by the head of human resources of the club in a telematic meeting called for this Friday. The novelty is that ERTE will not affect all workers, since the club has promised that “Those who are carrying out a 100% teleworking day” will be exempt. In fact, the Catalan entity openly talks about a “partial” ERTE.In any case, It will not be until Monday that the Company Committee receives the documentation of the employment regulation file and can make a complete assessment of the degree of affectation of the same in workers. The Company Committee wanted to recall in the statement the entity’s “commitment” that “the affected personnel have guaranteed 100% of their salary thanks to the additional contribution of the first-team soccer team”.It must be remembered that last Tuesday the club already delivered the file that affected the professional athletes of the sections, grassroots and women’s football, for which the majority saw their salaries reduced by 70%, less in grassroots football than the reduction was limited to 30%. The only ones exempt from ERTE were the first team players, who reached an agreement with the club to lower their salary by 70% while the state of alarm lasts, in addition to adding an additional 2% so that employees can receive 100% of your payroll during confinement.last_img read more

first_img Yaya Toure won three Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups in eight years with Manchester City. He also won the Champions League and two LaLiga crowns with Barcelona 3 He was subsequently linked with a move to team-up with his former Blues manager at West Ham, but Pellegrini decided to look elsewhere.Toure’s agent Dimitry Seluk this week aimed a dig at the bottom-of-the-table Hammers, when announcing on Twitter that Toure was having a medical in London. 3 It’s not West Ham, 100%. Yaya is a champion. The last place is not for him 😃 https://t.co/eDGeI0EvFf— Dimitry Seluk (@dmitriseluk) August 28, 2018It has since been claimed he has agreed to rejoin former club Olympiacos, having undergone his medical with the Greek giants in London this week. But responding to Seluk’s barb, Pellegrini, who brought nine new players to the London Stadium this summer, said: “The words of the agent of Yaya were unfortunate.“I spoke with Yaya, I know how I appreciate him as a person, as a player.“I think he is a very good player. In the moment that we were doing our squad list, that position was covered by other players.“We needed money to bring in other positions, so I explained to Yaya clearly why he cannot come here but I hope he will find a good club, a big club, because he is a very good player. “I spoke with Yaya. He wanted to stay in England. When I was at Manchester City, he received an offer away from China, but he always told me he wants to stay here in England.“He continues to try to be here. I suppose West Ham was one option. For me as a manager also. But unfortunately that position was covered by other players.”West Ham face Wolves on Saturday desperate to pick up their first points of the season following three straight defeats.center_img Pellegrini added: “It’s the second game at home, we lost the first one against Bournemouth so of course we must win this one.“We knew before we start the season before we started we would have tough fixtures, we need points at home.“We made mistakes in the last home game but now we cannot allow to repeat that.”Striker Marko Arnautovic is fit despite picking up a knee injury against Arsenal last weekend. 3 Marko Arnautovic is expected to be fit for this weekend’s clash against Wolves West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has hit back at Yaya Toure’s agent and claimed he turned down the chance to sign the former Manchester City star this summer. It was claimed Toure was looking to remain in the Premier League after leaving the Etihad Stadium this summer following an eight-season spell at City.last_img read more

May It Please Your Honor

first_imgA Chicago attorney is facing disciplinary proceedings for soliciting sex from job applicants to his firm. Samir Zia Chowhan of Chowhan Law is accused of demanding “sexual interaction with me and my partner” from a woman seeking a position as legal assistant at his firm.In May 2009 Chowhan posted a vacancy for “Loop lawyers hiring secretary/legal assistant” on Craigs list’s “Adult Gigs” in which he asked applicants to submit a “few pictures along with a description of your physical features, including measurements.” When Debbie Dickinson, submitted her application, Chowhan responded in an email: “As this is posted in the “adult gigs” section, in addition to the legal work, you would be required to have sexual interaction with me and my partner, sometimes together sometimes separate. This part of the job would require sexy dressing and flirtatious interaction with me and my partner, as well as sexual interaction. You will have to be comfortable doing this with us. If you think you’re comfortable so far, please let me know and we can proceed with the process…Lastly, we’ve actually hired a couple of girls in the past for this position. But they have not been able to handle the sexual aspect of the job later. We have to be sure you’re comfortable with that aspect, because I don’t want you to do anything that you’re not comfortable with. So since that time, we’ve decided that as part of the interview process you’ll be required to perform for us sexually (i didn’t do this before with the other girls i hired, now i think i have to because they couldn’t handle it). Because that aspect is an integral part of the job, I think it’s necessary to see if you can do that, because it’ll predict future behavior of you being able to handle it when you have the job.“Dickinson forwarded the email to the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, which charged Chowan with misconduct.
