You’ve seen them on our streets in our homes and on the worried faces of our friends and family.”She said the movement was formed by a “group of concerned community members that came together” with a common goal of supporting those affected by the housing crisis and to “take collective action to demand change”.“I don’t think I’m being too dramatic when I say that probably everyone here is affected by this, the housing crisis or at least know someone who’s affected.”“By coming out today, you have shown that the people in Limerick aren’t going to take it any longer. Underneath it all, we know that there are only two types of people in the housing struggle – the people that profit from it,  and the people who suffer from it.“We also know that there is ultimately more of us than there is of them,” the spokeswoman explained.
